| My top legislative priority is recovering the state budget following COVID-19. I plan to do this by finding efficiencies with current spending, such as shifting all state-funded construction projects to be completed strictly by Minnesota-based companies to keep those dollars in-state. I'd also like to increase revenue through expanding our biodiesel production and legalizing cannabis. Increasing taxes is not a solution I want to rely on, and if any changes to the tax structure on Minnesotans is to occur, I want it to be lowered for low- and middle-class folks and increased on corporations. |
